For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.... - Proverbs 23:7 (AMP)

Think About What You’re Thinking About
Scripture
For many years of my life, I didn’t realize that I could choose my thoughts. I simply thought whatever fell into my head, mostly lies from the enemy or just plain nonsense—things that really were not worth spending my time thinking about. Then one day, God spoke to my heart: Think about what you’re thinking about. It was a major turning point for me! When we take time to ask ourselves, What have I been thinking about? we can trace our problems and be on our way to freedom very quickly.
You see, it all begins with our thoughts. We can only truly change and become more like Christ as we renew our minds with God’s Word. Our thoughts are the forerunners for our words, our attitudes and our decisions—they even affect our relationships and how we see ourselves and other people. When we take time to renew our minds with God’s Word and think like God thinks, then we can also have what He wants us to have—a great life filled with peace, joy and all of His wonderful promises.
Renew Your Mind with His Word
