O give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; for His lovingkindness endures forever. - 1 Chronicles 16:34 (AMP)

Enjoy the Little Things
Scripture
Enjoying life to the fullest begins with a decision to be thankful. And that decision affects everything—even the overlooked areas of our lives. For example, you can decide to enjoy not only your work and your accomplishments, but even the commute to work in the mornings. Don't get so frustrated about traffic and have your mind on what you need to do when you arrive that you fail to enjoy the trip.
You can be grateful in traffic—grateful that you have a car, grateful that the car is running properly, grateful that you have a job, and grateful that you have a few extra minutes to spend time with God while we're stuck in traffic.
I want you to try something. As you go about your day, make a point to be grateful for the things you may otherwise not even notice. As you begin to thank God for the seemingly small things in your life, it will help you to focus on the positive and everything you do have. As result, you will also be much happier! Remember, all it takes is a decision.
Give Thanks
Joyce shares about what giving thanks will do in your life.
Tip
We can choose to have a thankful attitude and live each moment full of joy…simply because God is good.
— Joyce Meyer
Study Suggestion
Make a list of the ordinary, everyday things you are grateful for in your life. Make a determined decision to have a more thankful attitude in your day-to-day life. Thank God for the good things you can think of right now, and actively look for more things to add to the list each day. This will help you stay focused on God’s goodness.
