Renew Your Mind with God’s Word

Scripture

And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]. - Romans 12:2 (AMP)

We can only truly change and become more like Christ as we renew our minds with God’s Word—it’s the only thing powerful enough to change our thinking. I can honestly say that after years of reading and studying His Word, God has truly changed my thinking. And I know without a doubt that He will do the same for you.

I want to encourage you to make God’s Word a priority in your life by taking regular time each day to read the Word and even look up scriptures that specifically apply to your situations. Then choose to meditate on them and get them deep down on the inside of you. Because as you read and study the Word, it becomes a filter in your mind that reveals the lies of the enemy and shows you the truth! —Joyce

Renew Your Mind with His Word

Watch as Joyce teaches about the danger of meditating on the enemy’s deceptions instead of renewing your mind with God’s Word.

Tip

“God's Word will renew your mind, so love the Word, live the Word, speak the Word, meditate on the Word—and things will begin to change.”
— Joyce Meyer
