God’s Word Is Our Protection

The Word of God is a powerful weapon we can use to fight our battles in life. It shows us who we are in Christ and teaches us how to defeat the enemy through God’s strength. That’s why it’s so important to know it, love it, obey it and use it against the enemy as he comes against us.
Just as Jesus responded to the devil by speaking God’s Word, we need to declare the Word of God when the enemy tries to deceive us. If we will actively choose to learn God’s Word and be determined to trust the Truth it brings, we will be free to live an overcoming life in Christ. Knowing what God’s Word says—and then doing what it says—is one of the greatest weapons we have to win life’s battles!
