What Should I Study?
Scripture
When you first decide to study the Bible, it can be overwhelming. If you’re like me, you’ve probably wondered, Where in the world do I begin? The truth is there’s really no wrong place to start. Books like the gospel of John or the Psalms are great places to start because they’re easy to read and full of God’s love and encouragement.
However, I think it’s also helpful to answer questions like: “What do you need help with the most?” and “In what areas of your life are you having problems?” For instance, do you struggle with being impatient? Do you need to make a decision about something? Are you having trouble with anger? As you answer questions that are specific to you, you can find scriptures dealing with the areas where you need help.
I really want to encourage you to be diligent with your Bible study time, because God has so much for you. When you spend time in His Word, your life will change in amazing ways!
