I am giving you a new commandment, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, so you too are to love one another. - John 13:34 (AMP)

Show Them God’s Love
Scripture
I don’t believe anyone gets up in the morning and thinks, I just can’t wait to see how many people I can make miserable today. I often say that hurting people hurt people. The truth is, we’re never going to be able to prevent people from saying or doing things that hurt our feelings. We will always have opportunities to get offended. But if we do things God’s way, we can choose to save ourselves a lot of misery and hardship.
In John 13:35 (AMP), Jesus says, “By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you have love and unselfish concern for one another.” This verse tells us that we are Christ’s representatives here on earth, and when we love the people in our lives who are hard to love, we show them what God is really like. I personally believe that showing love to someone who doesn’t expect it is absolutely one of the most powerful things we can do.
