…Do not consider his appearance or his height, for I have rejected him. The Lord does not look at the things people look at. People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart. — 1 Samuel 16:7 (NIV)

How does the Holy Spirit help me?
Embracing God's Guidance for Continued Growth
Scripture
The Holy Spirit gives you both power and ability. The Holy Spirit is the spirit of God that equips you with the tools you’ll need to walk out your journey—in fact, the Holy Spirit is a gift from God that He said will constantly be alongside you. Because of it, you can walk through any circumstance and have the help of the Holy Spirit to show you what’s a good decision or a bad one. And the reason it's so important is because it demonstrates to others (as a witness) that they too can experience this for their own lives.
Another awesome aspect to the Holy Spirit is that He’s in it with you for the long haul. He’ll never forsake you, and as you need to learn something new, or identify and area of your life that God wants to improve for your good, you have the Holy Spirit to help you do it! Again, it's been the Holy Spirit leading and directing you thus far.
Finally, where do you go from here? How can you keep this momentum going?
Though we’ve arrived 10 weeks later, it’s by no means a hard stop to what we think will be beneficial for your continued success in your relationship with Christ. We all benefit from lifelong study—it keeps us sharp and makes us better. Because of it, we’d love to have you jump into our 30/30 Challenge: Spending 30 minutes a day for 30 days—establishing the habit of studying the Bible. The hope is that after 30 days you’ll see such benefit from doing it that you’ll want to keep it up. You’ve come so far already, and just imagine what God has for you just around the corner.
