You’ve Accomplished a Healthy, Challenging Goal

Scripture

I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.Philippians 1:6 (ESV)

Today marks a new milestone in your life: This is the last teaching and Bible study of the Healing the Soul of a Woman 30-day plan, and your journey has brought you closer than ever before to having a healed, whole soul in Christ.

Congratulations! You’ve accomplished a healthy, challenging goal by reaching this place in your story. So pat yourself on the back and thank God for giving you the grace to get to this point!

These last few weeks have hopefully been rewarding, and they have likely been a wonderful start to an ongoing journey. Because soul healing takes time, and for many, it lasts longer than 30 days. And that’s okay!

The important thing is that you make a little more progress each day in drawing closer to God, getting more rooted in His love for you, and becoming more like Christ. As you do this, you’ll naturally become healthy and whole in your soul.

Consider going through this plan again if you feel you need to dig a little deeper. Or maybe you need to go back to specific days that cover topics you are struggling with. Another suggestion is to do this study plan with a friend or two. You can keep moving forward yourself and also encourage someone else who is in the soul-healing process too.

Wherever you are today in your relationship with Jesus and His plan for your life, remember this…

Spend time today rejoicing and thanking God for all He’s done for you so far. And then make a fresh commitment to study His Word every day and get as close to Him as you can possibly be. Start by reading the scriptures listed above and be sure to note the specific promises God gives you in them.

Here’s something else you need to remember: Celebrate your progress as you continue walking with Jesus. Yes, there will always be more we can learn and experience in our relationship with God, and it’s important to keep moving forward. But rejoicing about the good work God has done and is doing in you is a vital part of the process.

As Philippians 1:6 says, He who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ (ESV). That’s absolutely the most amazing lifelong journey we can ever have!
