Project GRL is Helping Restore Women Who’ve Been Trapped by Human Trafficking

Hand of Hope – Aug 15, 2024

Sadly, thousands of women and children every day are forced into human trafficking. They’re often lured by the promise of a better life or a good-paying job…only to be trapped in a life of servitude or forced prostitution.

Human trafficking is one of the greatest injustices our world has ever seen. However, through the support of our partners, we are making a difference…

Project GRL is our initiative to Guide, Restore and Love women and girls all around the world who are being mistreated and undervalued. Through this initiative, we are helping to rescue women trapped in horrible circumstances. We also reach out to so many women and girls who are at risk of being sold as child brides or manipulated into being trafficked due to poverty.

Working with other vital organizations, we support a total of 13 rescue homes and safe havens in Bulgaria, Ethiopia, Greece, Cambodia, Thailand, India, South Africa, and United States.

Through these outreaches, we provide women and girls with counseling, spiritual support, education, and job skills training. Best of all, we let them know about their true worth and value in God’s eyes—that they are precious, loved daughters of the King.

Through our Project GRL medical vans in India, we are also providing free medical care to women in the red-light districts of Mumbai, Jaipur, Siliguri, and Kolkata. Furnished with state-of-the-art equipment, they allow our doctors to conduct thorough exams and conduct lab tests on site.

We not only tend to their medical needs, but we also share the love of Jesus and meet their spiritual needs as well. Each van is outfitted with a flat-screen TV so patients can watch Joyce’s programs in their own language while they wait. Our staff also provides counseling, prayer, and encouragement.

Thanks to you, we will fight to rescue women and girls around the world who have been trapped in unthinkable circumstances through human trafficking. And we will continue to protect girls at risk and offer them safe places where they can learn, grow, and dream about the good future God has for them.
