He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds . . .
It is fairly easy to trust God for something that you want, but what about trusting God when life hurts? Are you willing to trust God with your pain? When I am hurting, I find that my faith is tested. We don’t like pain, and we usually don’t understand why we have it.
We may find it difficult to see beyond it, let alone believe that anything good can come out of it. However, God does promise that He will heal our wounds, and that He will take our pain and turn it into something good as we continue trusting Him (Genesis 50:20). If you are hurting right now, I encourage you to offer your pain to God and ask Him to use it for His glory and work it out for your good!
Prayer of the Day: Lord, when life throws difficult things my way, hurts me and I don't understand why, help me trust You with my pain. Please turn my hurt into something good for Your glory.
