It's All About Helping People

When my husband, Dave, and I look back, we are simply amazed at all God has done. Joyce Meyer Ministries officially began in 1987. In the beginning, we worked out of the basement of our house, and our first employee used a cardboard box for a desk!

Fast-forward to today—we are sharing God’s Word with literally millions of people through various media outlets like television, radio, podcasts, joycemeyer.org and social media; and we are helping people all over the world through our Hand of Hope missions outreaches. We’ve come a long way and God has truly taken care of us!

Yet, over the years, one thing has remained the same: We couldn’t do any of this without our partners, who each stand beside us, pray and give what they can to make God’s vision for this ministry possible.

From the very first day, He spoke to our hearts about the power of partnership. He wanted us to trust Him to bring other people alongside to do more than we ever could alone.

You see, when we partner together—when we each do what we can—we don’t just double or triple our efforts…we expand our reach exponentially!

We often refer to our partners as “family,” and that is truly how Dave and I feel. We are a group of people who are all passionate about sharing Christ and helping people, and we each do our part to make a difference in this world.

And our family is constantly growing. Over and over again, people contact us to let us know how God’s Word through this ministry has changed their lives…then they partner with us so they can help others in the same way they were helped. That’s what it’s all about!

At the heart of everything we do, we simply want to help others experience the lasting joy of the Gospel and meet the needs of hurting people in every way possible. This has been our vision from the beginning.

Many of you know my personal story. Growing up, I suffered sexual, verbal and emotional abuse from the time I was a very young girl. It was only after I developed a relationship with God and began to read and study His Word that I experienced real change. It didn’t happen overnight, but the Lord used His Word to heal my broken heart and truly set me free.

Since then, it has been the greatest privilege of my life to share God’s Word and teach others how to grow in their relationship with Christ and experience the joy and freedom I have experienced.

Together, we can reach hurting people with the answers they need and share the love of Christ through meeting practical needs. We can feed the hungry, rescue women and girls from trafficking, educate children, provide free medical care, dig water wells, plant churches, respond to those affected by disasters and so much more.

I can tell you one thing for certain: when you partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries, you help people experience the hope and freedom that are only found in Christ. It’s our goal—to help as many people as we possibly can.

We are so grateful to God for His goodness and for the privilege to reach people all around the world with His love.
