This is what the LORD says—your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is best for you, who directs you in the way you should go.”
God wants to give us direction, but we need to learn to listen in order for that to happen. God leads us in many different ways. Some of the most frequent are His Word, peace, and wisdom. But God cannot lead us at all if we are not willing to do whatever He shows us to do, even if it is not what we would prefer.
Are you ready and willing to say, “Lord, if You lead me, I will follow”? If you make that commitment and truly mean it, then you can expect God’s guidance in your life. It may not always come immediately when you ask for it, but it will come. While you are waiting, just continue to thank Him that He has a plan and will reveal it to you at the right time.
Prayer of the Day: God, help me listen for Your direction and trust Your guidance. Give me peace, wisdom, and a willing heart to follow wherever You lead, amen.
