Therefore if any person is [ingrafted] in Christ (the Messiah) he is a new creation (a new creature altogether); the old [previous moral and spiritual condition] has passed away. Behold, the fresh and new has come!
As “a new creation,” you don’t have to allow the old things that happened to you keep affecting you. You’re a new person with a new life in Christ. You can have your mind renewed by studying God’s Word and learning about His good plan for you. Good things are going to happen to you, and you can start believing that.
It is unwise to refuse to face reality; however, if our reality is negative, we can still have a positive attitude toward it. Always be ready mentally to face whatever comes, believing God works good out of all things.
Rejoice! It’s a new day!
Prayer of the Day: Father God, please help me to embrace my new life in Christ. Help me renew my mind daily through Your Word and trust in Your good plan for my life. I love You and thank You, amen.
