Disaster Relief
  • March 2022: In response to major flooding throughout southeast Queensland and northern New South Wales, Hand of Hope partnered with Global Care helping provide clean-up equipment,  household appliances and items, and power tools to rebuild the communities affected by the disaster. 
  • December 2019:  Hand of Hope partnered with Hillsong and Samaritan's Purse to respond to the ravaging wildfires, assisting with debris removal, clean-up and helping with inadequate insurance. 
  • March 2019: After devastating rainfall hit North Queensland, Hand of Hope partnered with Global Care to quickly respond with emergency supplies and clean-up.
  • October 2013: When almost 100 bushfires ravaged New South Wales, causing many to lose their homes and livelihoods, Hand of Hope partnered with Australian Christian Churches to provide relief.
  • January 2013: Tropical cyclone Oswald formed in the far north coast of Queensland, Australia. Hand of Hope partnered with Citipointe Church and Red Frogs, to provide assistance in the clean-up process as well as provide food to the volunteers.  We provided water blasters, boots, cleaning equipment and financial support.
  • 2011: Hand of Hope partnered with Citipointe Church and Loaves and Fishes Streetmeet Care Service to set up Carepoints to distribute food, clothing, and blankets to those impacted by unprecedented flooding.
  • 2009: Hand of Hope teamed up with Whittlesea Assembly of God to help the displaced families after wildfires devastated large areas and claimed the lives of nearly 200 people. We provided food, clothing, blankets, generators, water pumps and other necessities to the people in need.


Feeding Programs

Hand of Hope has served tens of thousands of meals via street ministry through our feeding programs in partnership with Loaves and Fishes Streetmeet Care Service.

Joyce Meyer Ministries operates an office in Australia, servicing the Pacific Rim region.

International Conferences
  • July 2012: Joyce spoke at the Hillsong Conference; more than 56,000 people attended; and 378 people received Christ.
  • June 2012: Joyce ministered to 10,575 people attending her conference in Brisbane, 109 accepted Christ.
  • 2008: Joyce joined Bobby Houston to minister at the Hillsong Conference in Sydney.
  • 2007, 2005, 2004, 2001: Joyce ministered in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney.


Partnership
  • Hand of Hope supports EQUIP & Empower, reaching youth and assisting local churches across the world.  
  • Hand of Hope has supported GenR8, a ministry developing Chaplains. 
 
Prison Ministry:
  • 2011: Prison teams visited the Darwin Northern Territory to visit 6 prisons, distributed 1,355 hygiene bags including one of Joyce's books and witnessed 9 come to Christ.
  • 2010: Prison teams visited four prisons in Queensland; distributed 1,322 gift bags which included one of Joyce's books. 
  • 2008: The teams visited six prisons, distributing over 1,800 hygiene bags and Joyce's books.
  • 2007: The prison team visited a prison and gave out over 1,000 hygiene bags and Joyce's books in Queensland
  • 2004: The prison team traveled to Tasmania, distributing 485 hygiene gift bags and Joyce's books and ministered in five prisons.
