We are excited about returning to Zimbabwe for our fifth medical and dental outreach in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe July 30-August 9, 2020. We are partnering with Celebration Church. With over 20 years of ministry experience, Celebration Church has several campuses throughout Zimbabwe. They host medical teams throughout the year and have a passion to help the people of Zimbabwe. Zimbabwe is a very young nation where half the population is below 21 years old. It also has one of the lowest life expectancies in the world so this will be a much needed outreach!

Missions

Overview

During this outreach we will help many of the sick and hurting who would otherwise go without the treatment they need. We will set up a general medical/dental clinic and treat the patients’ needs as they present. We will also pray with all of our patients’ and give them an opportunity to receive Christ. The team will be staying in a hotel based in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe.


Schedule

Thursday, July 30
Possible overnight depending on home city.

Friday, July 31
Depart home city; meet the team in a US city and fly together to Zimbabwe. (This is a US departure date; other countries may vary).

Saturday, August 1
Arrive in Zimbabwe. Team orientation

Sunday, August 2
Church in the morning, pack medication, organize clinic supplies

Monday, August 3
Medical/Dental Clinic

Tuesday, August 4
Medical/Dental Clinic

Wednesday, August 5
Medical/Dental Clinic

Thursday, August 6
Medical/Dental Clinic

Friday, August 7
Medical/Dental Clinic

Saturday, August 8
Depart for home.

Arrive in home city.

Cost

Cost for Food, Lodging, Ground Transportation, Interpreters, Hand of Hope T-shirt, and Travel Health Insurance: $1,500.

Estimated airfare is $1,800 depending on your departure city. The registration is paid to Joyce Meyer Ministries, and you will pay the travel agent we use directly for your flight.

Estimated Total Cost for this trip is $3,300

If you have already been approved and would like to join the team, please call 1-800-707-7877 x3218 to inquire about making your $300 nonrefundable deposit to secure your spot on the team.

The $300.00 nonrefundable deposit is needed in order to secure your place on the team once your application has been approved. The deposit is placed toward your total trip cost. After submitting your deposit, we will provide you with the information to book your airline ticket. Hand of Hope will pre-select the team flight and we work closely with a travel agent who will coordinate the team’s itineraries. It is required to book your team travel through the travel agent we provide.

If you would like to stay longer than the scheduled outreach dates for your own leisure you are welcome to make those travel arrangements with the travel agent at the time of booking. You will be responsible to make all of your own travel arrangements and hotel accommodation after the team checks out of the hotel.
