Ground Transportation Once you arrive at the airport, you have several options for getting to Amalie Arena:

  1. Taxi or rideshare - Taxis and rideshare services such as Uber and Lyft are readily available at both Tampa International Airport (TPA) and St. Petersburgh-Clearwater International Airport (PIE). Expect to pay around $26 - $32 for a 12 min. one-way trip from Tampa International Airport to the Amalie Arena, and around $65-$80 for a one-way trip from St. Petersburgh-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) to the Amalie Arena that takes 27 min.
  2. Rental car - If you prefer to have your own transportation, rental cars are available at both airports. Several major car rental companies have locations at Tampa International Airport (TPA) and St. Petersburgh-Clearwater International Airport (PIE).
  3. Public transportation - The cheapest way to get from Tampa Airport (TPA) to Amalie Arena is the line 10 bus which costs $2 and takes 42 min. Bus transportation is also available from St. Petersburgh-Clearwater International Airport (PIE) to the Amalie Arena for $8.75; travel time approx. 2 hr. 12 min.
  4. Shuttle service - Several shuttle services offer transportation from both airports.
