Book Translation
Fourteen of Joyce’s books have been translated into Sinhalese; over 575,000 books have been distributed through outreaches.
Disaster Relief
- 2016: Hand of Hope provided immediate assistance after mudslides and flooding
- 2010: Joyce Meyer Ministries Asia office worked directly with refugees, many who found themselves without shelter or food, by providing them the help needed to place them back in permanent housing.
- 2009: After the civil war ended, the humanitarian conditions for the people of Sri Lanka were horrible. Hand of Hope partnered with Convoy of Hope and together we were able to help many people to get their lives back in order. Through our partnership we were able to provide food, clothing, and hygiene packs, as well as provide food to about 700 hospital patients.
- 2004: Hand of Hope partnered with other ministries to help bring relief to hurting people during the Tsunami. We assisted in bringing relief to 865 families in six villages. 100 homes and one church were rebuilt, 20 boats and 20 sets of fishing nets, 500 cycles, 75 sewing machines and 10 auto rickshaws were provided to assist the families in restoring their lives.
Feeding Programs
Hand of Hope serves tens of thousands of meals yearly through our feeding programs in this country.

Joyce Meyer Ministries has a field office that services Sri Lanka.
International Conferences
2012: Joyce held a conference in Colombo where nearly 180,000 attended and more than 84,000 received Christ.
Medical/Dental Missions
- 2016: Our volunteers treated 3,000 patients
- 2015: Our volunteers treated 3,188 patients; 37 received Christ
- 2012: Our volunteers treated 4,030 patients; 106 souls were saved
Partnership
2002: Joyce Meyer Ministries hosted a three-day Extreme Weekend Crusade on the beach in Colombo, reaching out to hundreds of youth in the country.
Prison Ministry
- 2012: The prison team visited 320 inmates leaving each of them with a personal hygiene bag and one of Joyce's books.
- 2011: The prison team visited 7 prisons; distributed 18,422 hygiene gift bags including one of Joyce's books.
- 2010: The prison team distributed 700 hygiene gift bags including one of Joyce books.
Television and Radio
Joyce’s Enjoying Everyday Life Television show is available in Sinhala in select areas across the country. The Television show was previously available in English, Telugu, Hindi and Tamil.
Water Relief
Through our Water Relief program, Hand of Hope provided 10 wells to provide fresh drinking water to villages. Seven of those wells have included a Church
