Book Translation

Five books by Joyce Meyer have been translated in Burmese; over 35,000 books have been distributed through various outreaches. 

 

Children's Homes

Hand of Hope has funded and operated children's homes in this country.

Disaster Relief
  • 2021:  Hand of Hope responded to unrest in the nation to provide 3,000 families with food parcels of basic food necessities and medication for an entire month. 
  • 2015:  Hand of Hope responded with emergency supplies after flooding destroyed over 15,000 homes.  
  • 2011:  Hand of Hope served thousands of families who suffered due to massive flooding.  Supply relief bags, which contained rice, tin fish, oil and vegetables along with Joyce's book Tell Them I Love Them were provided to families.  We worked with four churches to set up facilities in five locations for temporary housing, each of which had food, bedding and temporary shower and toilet facilities. 
  • 2011:  After an earthquake, Hand of Hope responded by distributing dry food, noodles, bottled water, clothes, and plastic mats providing relief to many families.  
  • 2008:  Working through our Southeast Asia office, we were able to respond quickly when a cyclone hit Myanmar, providing families with much needed food, plastic sheeting, mosquito nets, candles and matches.  Also, partnering with His Image, we worked to dispatch medical teams to treat victims and train Burmese doctors.  

Feeding Programs 

Joyce Meyer Ministries serves hundreds of thousands of meals yearly through our feeding programs in Myanmar. 

Medical/Dental Outreaches
  • 2017:  Hand of Hope volunteers treated 1.149 patients; 874 accepted Christ. 
  • 2013:  Hand of Hope volunteers treated 3,728 patients; 123accepted Christ.
Partnership 
  • 2000: Hosted an Extreme Weekend Youth Crusade, reaching 1,500 youth; 150 received salvation.
  • 2005:  Short-term missions team was sent into Myanmar to work with churches and orphanages.
Prison Ministry

2016:  Our prison team visited one prison; distributing 1,600 hygiene gift bags and a book by Joyce.

Television and Radio

 The Enjoying Everyday Life Broadcast was previously available in Burmese in select areas of the country.

Water Relief 

Through our Water Relief program, Joyce Meyer Ministries has provided over 30 fresh water wells to villages; 16 of these included a church.
