Something new is happening, and Nicol and I are so excited to share it with you! It begins with a story…

Nearly two years ago, God began speaking to my heart to look for property in Utah, where Nicol and I currently live. I didn’t know exactly how we would use the property but I knew it would be a place to help many people, so out of obedience, I kept searching. Then one day I came across an incredible piece of land for sale and sensed an urgency to purchase it.

At Joyce Meyer Ministries, we take our stewardship of the donations people give very seriously and are relentlessly dedicated to utilizing ministry funds in the best ways possible. Deep in our hearts, we knew that God was up to something big. We knew He was saying, “This is the place!” We continued to share this with Mom and Dad, and as we all prayed, we agreed this would be an excellent ministry opportunity.

So, Joyce Meyer Ministries purchased this beautiful 800-acre piece of property in Mount Pleasant, Utah, and named it Hope Mountain Ranch. It’s an actual working ranch (complete with cattle), with a river winding through it, and a spectacular mountain backdrop.

As we moved forward, we’ve continued to ask God, “Okay, what’s next?” And He continues to unfold His vision. For decades, Mom has shared her story of healing from abuse, taught the Bible, and met people’s physical and spiritual needs all over the world through Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions. God began showing us that Hope Mountain Ranch will be a place where Mom’s legacy of love for people continues. A sanctuary for all those seeking hope, healing, and restoration…and the hub for our outreaches across the United States.

The opportunities here are truly limitless, and we are so ready to dive in! Let me share just a couple of the new things we are doing…

Where Dreams Come Back to Life

As you read this, we’re preparing to break ground on the Dream Center at Hope Mountain Ranch—a restoration home that will provide healing and a fresh start for women who have experienced abuse, domestic violence, familial trafficking, or other forms of trauma. It’s an outreach made possible through a unique partnership with Dream City Church in Phoenix, Arizona.

Set on 80 acres, the women’s home will consist of resident bedrooms and allow us to provide women and their children with focused, personalized support in a safe, healing environment. Our services will include trauma-informed counseling, case management, vocational training, life skills education, medical and legal assistance, and family support. Our goal is to equip residents with the tools and resources needed for lasting independence.

Greatest of all, our staff will provide the women with a safe, family-like atmosphere where they can experience God’s amazing love. Through biblical teaching, Joyce’s resources, and Christ-centered counseling, we can truly provide them with a fresh start.

Once they graduate from the program, the women will have an opportunity to live in a “tiny homes” community, which is also being developed at Hope Mountain Ranch. Here, they will learn to care for a home and secure a job to prepare them to reintegrate into society in a healthy way. Together, with your support, we can provide the skills it takes to successfully start a new life!

As you may be familiar, we have also worked together with the Phoenix Dream Center to help women and families in Hildale, Utah, to escape from the control and abuse of the FLDS cult (Fundamentalist Latter-Day Saints) and their polygamist leader Warren Jeffs. You have made it possible for so many to find freedom, and this new women’s home at Hope Mountain Ranch will continue to reach more like these and so many others who need our help.

With your support, we can make this a home where hearts are mended, and dreams come back to life.

I lift up my eyes to the hills from where does my help come? My help comes from the Lord who made heaven and earth. -Psalm 121:1-2 (ESV)

God Has Big Plans!

The idea for Hope Mountain Ranch first began a couple years ago. It was a dream that God planted in our son Dan’s heart—something he knew was important. As we purchased the land and began moving forward, the Lord began showing us that He has big plans in mind!

My passion has always been to help anyone who is hurting, especially women who have suffered abuse the way I did growing up, so it’s truly amazing to see this dream of Hope Mountain Ranch as the culmination of my 50-plus years in ministry—a way that we can leave a legacy of hope and healing.

Only God could orchestrate something so beautiful. After the years of abuse I suffered and the healing work God has done in my life, He now plants us right in the middle of a place where women have been marginalized and mistreated. A place where women need to hear about the transformative power of God available to them—the same power that changed my life!

My heart is full of gratitude for this beauty for ashes story God is allowing us be a part of, right here in Utah.

As we prepare to break ground on the Dream Center at Hope Mountain Ranch, it’s amazing to think that one day, every bed will be filled, and women’s lives will be changing because of God’s unending and transformative love for them. This is what we, together, get to be a part of!

Yes, it means a lot of work…and prayers…and resources. But we know that we’re not alone. Together, we can step into this big, new adventure and reach more lives for God than ever before. I believe the best is yet to come!
