Change Things with Knowledge @tag1>
Adapted from Starting Your Day Right
Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass.
We are all eager for our situations and relationships to change, but nothing will change in our lives without knowledge of God’s Word. In Hosea 4:6 (NKJV) God says, My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.
Change comes through prayer, and then through waiting patiently on God. While we are waiting for God to solve our problems, we are not to complain to everybody else about our situation.
God tells us to trust Him. He is not asking us to trust the people involved in our problems; He is asking us to trust Him. There is a difference. He is faithful to rescue us from all our troubles.
Prayer of the Day: Father, I trust You with the situations I’m facing. Help me wait patiently without complaining to those around me and give me knowledge of Your Word so I can see the changes I’m waiting for happen in my life, amen.
