…God, your God, has anointed You above Your companions with the oil of jubilation.

Indecision is a miserable state to be in and certainly is not a fruit of a life lived confidently in Christ. The apostle James said the double-minded man is unstable in all his ways (see James 1:8).

Being indecisive because you’re afraid you’ll make the wrong decisions will get you nowhere. How much time do you think we waste when we can’t make up our minds?

With God’s help, start making decisions without second-guessing yourself or worrying about the choices you make. In your quiet time with God, ask Him for wisdom and confidence so you can move forward boldly. Don’t be double-minded or wishy-washy, because doubting your decisions after you make them will steal the enjoyment from everything you do.

Prayer of the Day: Lord, You know that I struggle when making decisions. Please help me to be confident in You, to make decisions boldly, and to not second-guess myself or live in the constant fear of making a mistake, amen.
