Living in God's Love

Partnering for Change

I am many things—a wife, mother and even a grandmother. But first and foremost, I am a child of God, and I am so grateful that He never gave up on me. Over the years, through the good and bad, He has helped me learn how to enjoy the journey and live in His love.

And as a partner with this ministry, I am honored to say that I’m helping others to do the same thing.

It All Began in 1995…

In 1995, I accepted Jesus Christ and started a wonderful, new relationship with Him. However, even though I was brand new on the inside, I still suffered from deep insecurities and truly didn’t love myself.

Well, one day my aunt handed me a teaching from someone I’d never heard of before—Joyce Meyer. I turned it on and listened as Joyce shared scripture after scripture about who we are in Christ, how much God loves us and how valuable we are to Him.

This teaching reached me at my core. At the time, I suffered from tremendous insecurities, and this message helped me to receive God’s love and begin loving myself.

After this, I began listening to Joyce’s teachings on a regular basis. They helped me to understand the importance of knowing God’s Word and how to hear from Him in my daily life.

A Beautiful Partnership

A few months later, I attended my very first Joyce Meyer conference in Modesto, California. That’s when I discovered the ministry’s heart and passion for helping hurting people around the world. They didn’t just teach God’s Word, but they put it into practice.

I definitely wanted to be a part of it. So, that weekend, I became a partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries. I began sowing seed into their ministry so they could then sow it into the lives of many others.

It’s hard for me to believe, but that was 24 years ago! I’ve been partnering with Joyce Meyer Ministries and their missions arm, Hand of Hope, to share God’s Word, hold conferences that are free, provide medical care, educate children, help people after natural disasters and so much more.

I have always trusted this ministry to use the money in places where the need is the greatest. And year after year, they have continued to impress me by the ways they help people in nearly every corner of the world. I also love the accountability, knowing that I can read their annual reports and regularly see where my money is going.

I Want Others to Live in God’s Love

Today, I look back in amazement at how God has used this ministry to help me grow and change over the years. I discovered that I am valuable to God, and that I am loved and forgiven.

As I partner with Joyce Meyer Ministries, I know that together we are spreading the love of God and meeting practical needs. But it goes far beyond that. We want people to have more than just a meal—we want them to have a relationship with Jesus Christ and spend eternity with Him.

We want people to live in God’s love. It’s the thing that changed my life…and forever changed my journey.
