Book Translation

Hand of Hope has translated thousands of Joyce's books in Spanish, donated and distributed through numerous outreaches.

Disaster Relief
  • 2020: Hand of Hope partnered with Juan Guzman to provide relief after Hurricane Isaias providing food, cloths and other much needed relief supplies
Feeding Programs

Hand of Hope has served over 1.8 million meals through our feeding programs in this country.

Medical and Dental Outreaches
  • 2021: Hand of Hope volunteers treated 2,730 patients; 32 accepted Christ
  • 2019: Hand of Hope volunteers treated 2,026 patients; 171 people received Christ
  • 2016: Hand of Hope volunteers treated 1,866 patients; 248 people accepted Christ.
  • 2015: Hand of Hope volunteers treated 1,449 patients; 410 people received Christ. 
  • 2013: Hand of Hope volunteers treated 2,560 patients; 300 came to believe in the Lord.  
  • 2012: Hand of Hope volunteers treated 2,456 patients; 596 of them accepted Christ. 
Partnership

Hand of Hope supported the Juan Guzman Foundation by sending a container of food for children in rural areas.

Prison

2012: The prison team held over 35 services in 28 prisons, distributed 22,400 hygiene gift bags with one of Joyce’s books to inmates; 7,643 people came to Christ. 

Television and Radio

Joyce’s Enjoying Everyday Life radio programs are available in French in select areas across the Dominican Republic, and in Spanish on Television. 

Water

Hand of Hope provided a fresh clean water tank, which provides fresh water to many.
