(St. Louis, Mo.) Joyce Meyer Ministries’ Hand of Hope is partnering with emergency relief organizations Convoy of Hope and Service International, bringing food, water, emergency supplies, equipment and volunteers to assist families and remove debris from flood damaged areas. The need is vast in the wake of recent epic flooding throughout the St. Louis area, hundreds were evacuated as more than ten inches of rain fell over a three-day period elevating the Mississippi, Missouri and Meramec rivers well above flood stage.

“This is our hometown and there are hundreds in need of assistance,” says David Meyer, CEO of Hand of Hope. “No matter where disasters happen, either around the world or here locally, we are committed to help the hurting in their greatest time of need. Therefore we have partnered with two outstanding emergency response outganizations to offer immediate relief.”
