ST. LOUIS, February 8, 2013-

Thirty-three-year-old Daniel Meyer, CEO of Joyce Meyer Ministries, has been recognized as one of St. Louis’s 40 Under 40 for 2013.  Established by the St. Louis Business Journal, this award was created as a way to acknowledge upcoming leaders in the St. Louis metro area.

In 2004, at the age of 25, Daniel Meyer became CEO of Joyce Meyer Ministries, with his focus on to making sure the ministry is effectively reaching those in need. During his tenure, the ministry has had one of its strongest fiscal years, allowing them to successfully adhere to the mission’s statement of sharing Christ and loving people.  Joyce Meyer Ministries has also seen the highest attendance at their annual Women’s Conference, with over 27,000 attendees at the 30th anniversary event in 2012. Daniel oversees and directs the multi-faceted non-profit ministry, which employs over 500 people at its headquarters in Fenton.

Daniel leads the impact of media in today’s culture and oversees the distribution of Joyce Meyer Ministries’ Telly Award-winning program Enjoying Everyday Life to a potential 4.5 billion people around the world through TV and radio. Additionally, over 1 million minutes of online video are distributed per day. During Daniel’s time as CEO, Joyce Meyer Ministries has become the number 1 retweeted brand on Twitter and has close to five million collective followers among all active social media channels.

This year’s 40 Under 40 class were chosen by a panel of 11 judges who went through over 520 nominations and chose the top future leaders in St. Louis.
