ST. LOUIS -

Thousands of Tulsa residents will come together this Saturday, June 9th, for an event called "Together We're Better," that aims to unify the culturally diverse city. Taking place at 6 different churches around the city of Tulsa, this event is sponsored by Hand of Hope, the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries, along with GUTS Church. Each church will provide food, clothing, manicures/pedicures, haircuts, and car maintenance to those in attendance from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. that day.

Pastor Bill Scheer from GUTS Church, one of the most dynamic community outreach churches in America, says his desire for this event is "helping people win." With this goal in mind, this event will concentrate on impacting the entire city of Tulsa by providing basic necessities as well as fun activities for the entire family. Everyone in attendance on Saturday will receive a free voucher for Big Splash Water Park to use that evening.

Saturday's activities take place from 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. at six different locations across the city:
