Press Release: St. Louis Hosts 30th Annual Women's Conference

by Joyce Meyer Ministries - posted September 17, 2012

  • 27,000 women from around the world come to St. Louis for a weekend getaway
  • Guests include Joyce Meyer, Joel Osteen, Christine Caine, Darlene Zschech, Mandisa, Kari Jobe and Fuzed Worship
  • Thursday, September 20 through Saturday, September 22 at the Edward Jones Dome

ST. LOUIS - What do a 15-year-old girl from St. Louis, a 55-year-old woman from New York and a 27-year-old woman from Australia all have in common? They will be joining 27,000 other ladies from around the world this week for the 30th Anniversary Joyce Meyer Ministries Love Life Women's Conference. The theme of this year's women's conference is "Celebrate the Power of Hope."

Due to the large amount of conference attendees coming in from out of town, many hotels in the area are filled to capacity. Thirty-eight hotels with over 5,100 rooms in the St. Louis area are currently reserved, and that number continues to rise. The St. Louis Convention and Visitors Commission (CVC) estimates an increase of $10,031,040 in direct spending from conference attendees over the weekend.

To celebrate this year's 30th Anniversary of the Joyce Meyer Women's Conference, a special Red Carpet Event will be held Friday night. Conference attendees will be part of a special evening that will include a concert hosted by American Idol finalist Mandisa, open to the public. This will take place after the teaching. There will also be other unannounced activities throughout the night.

The Mandisa concert on Friday night is open to the general public. The only admission fee required is a package of diapers or wipes that will benefit local St. Louis families through the St. Louis Dream Center, an inner-city outreach in North St. Louis.

Event Details:

Where: Edward Jones Dome, St. Louis, Mo.
When: September 20-22, 2012
