Media Advisory: St. Louis Dream Center "Adopts" 50 Families For Christmas

by Joyce Meyer Ministries - posted December 15, 2010

"Adopt A Block Adopts A Family" will provide toys and gift baskets for in-need families

The St. Louis Dream Center will help spread Christmas cheer to 50 St. Louis families through its 2010 "Adopt A Block Adopts A Family" holiday initiative. On Saturday, December 18, volunteer teams will deliver toys and gift baskets to the 50 families to help ensure a brighter holiday for the recipient children and their parents. The very next day, every child (from infants to high school) attending the Dream Center's 9 a.m. and 11 a.m. Sunday morning worship services will receive a new toy. Providing an important giveback to the community, "Adopt A Block" is part of the Dream Center's ongoing efforts to improve area residents' quality of life within the city's 21st ward.

Saturday, December 18 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Multiple street locations throughout the 21st ward *
