What is geolocation and

what do we use it for?

Geolocation is a tool we use to determine which of our offices services your area by identifying the country from which you are currently accessing our bookstore. If this is not the correct country, just change the location to the country you’re in. For further assistance, contact our office.

Sending Support to Nashville

Our team recently traveled to Nashville to meet up with the churches and organizations that Hand of Hope, Joyce Meyer Ministries World Missions is helping support in Nashville.

As soon as the flood went through, Hand of Hope sent funds to Service International, Oasis Church and Cross Point Church. With any disaster, our number one goal is to provide immediate relief and support. Thanks to our partners, we were able to send funds to those already in Nashville who were ready and willing to provide cleanup efforts.

One of the people we were able to help through our support of Service International, was Kathleen B. After having a pacemaker put in five months ago, Kathleen had left for a much-needed vacation just a couple days before the rain began to fall. So she was out of town when her house was flooded.

In fact, it wasn't long after we arrived at her house that Kathleen saw the damage for the first time. Our team waited outside while Kathleen went in to see the damage the water had done...

When she invited us in, we expected her to be devastated, but instead we found hope. "Jesus is all I need. This is just stuff. It can be replaced, but my family can’t be replaced. I've always said, 'God’s first, then family, then my job, and everything else will fall in place.'"

Many Without Insurance
A neighborhood like Riverplace Plantations, where Kathleen lives, is not in a flood zone, so the residents typically don’t have flood insurance. That’s why it’s so important for organizations like Service International to come in and help clean out the homes and gut the walls and floors that have been damaged by the water.

Not only would it be expensive to get a contractor to come in and do it, Kathleen would have to join the 700 other units on the waiting list. Service International was coming in the next day to begin work on her place.

Even in the midst of such tragedy, we witnessed people full of hope and strength. We saw neighbors coming together to help each other, churches stepping into the community to tackle a job they've never encountered before, and outside organizations, such as Service International, bringing their experience in to support and assist those already working.

Thank you for being a part of bringing assistance to those affected in Nashville.

We ask that you prayerfully consider making a donation to help support our disaster relief efforts, as well as other vital missions outreaches. Your contribution will help Joyce Meyer Ministries provide emergency aid to families devastated by this disaster.

Hand of Hope is the missions arm of Joyce Meyer Ministries. Our goal is simply to help as many hurting people as we possibly can, to alleviate human suffering and to help Christians grow in their faith.
