Pray for Papua New Guinea

With thousands of communities and more than 800 languages, Papua New Guinea is a diverse and extremely primitive nation.

Joyce is traveling to Papua New Guinea
We need your prayers. Throughout July, Joyce Meyer Ministries will be holding several events in Papua New Guinea.

On July 24 – 26, Joyce will hold a 3-day Festival of Life in Port Moresby—her first in Papua New Guinea—with worship leader Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong band.

July 19 – 23, medical missions teams will set up throughout the area to perform medical and dental procedures, as well as provide much needed medications—all free of charge.

One of the medical teams will be set up in the town of Port Moresby, and the other will be based in a very remote area called Ambunti. This will be the first time any foreign, modern medical team provides free medical care in Ambunti.

Our prison outreach team will also be traveling to all prisons in the area, sharing a message of hope and freedom, and distributing hygiene gift bags containing soap, shampoo and one of Joyce’s books.

A missions trip like this is impossible without the support of our partners. These festivals, medical clinics and prison outreaches bring the Word of God and lifesaving medical care to thousands.

Bringing Unity to a Region of Conflict
Most of Papua New Guinea’s thousands of communities have no more than a few hundred people living in them. The people are literally divided based on language, customs and tradition. These divisions often escalate into conflicts.

Our hope is that through this conference, the Enjoying Everyday Life broadcast, the thousands of books that have been distributed and our partnerships with several ministries in the country, the people can begin to experience unity in the love of Christ.
