We need your prayers. Throughout November, Joyce Meyer Ministries will be holding several events and outreaches in Malawi.
A small, landlocked country in southeast Africa, Malawi is among the least developed and most densely populated countries in the world. More than 53 percent of its population lives below the international poverty line. It is also a country struggling with numerous diseases. In fact, Malawi has one of the world’s highest percentages of AIDS among adults. Nearly 70,000 people die every year because of this disease.
Festival of Life
November 20 – 22, Joyce will hold a three-day Festival of Life in Blantyre, with worship leader Israel Houghton and New Breed. Joyce will also visit feeding sites in Blantyre and Lilongwe, as well as the CURE Hospital that Joyce Meyer Ministries’ partners help support in Blantyre.
Free Medical Care
November 14 – 22, medical missions teams will set up in Lilongwe, Kases and Ngodzi. Volunteers will perform medical assessments and dental procedures, as well as provide much needed medications—all free of charge.
Visiting Prisoners
Our prison team will be visiting more than 30 prisons throughout Malawi, sharing the love of Christ in word and action. Every prisoner will receive a hygiene gift bag, which includes soap, shampoo, and one of Joyce’s books.
Please Pray
As we are able to reach out to the people of Malawi, please pray for:
- Complete healing from HIV/AIDS
- Restoration of health from the other diseases that ravage them
- Provision for their daily needs, such as food and basic shelter
- Their eyes and hearts to be open to the hope and salvation that only Jesus can give
- All of the staff and volunteers who will be traveling and ministering to the people of Malawi
Thank You
A missions trip like this is impossible without the support of our partners. These festivals and medical clinics and prison outreaches bring the Word of God and lifesaving medical care to thousands.
