International Conferences

One World, Every Generation
In 2007, Joyce Meyer toured New Zealand, Australia, Europe and South Africa to share the good news of Jesus Christ with people of all ages.

  • Joyce’s Australia and New Zealand tour spanned 5 cities and reached more than 100,000 people.
  • More than 54,000 young people came to hear Joyce teach at the Parachute Festival, New Zealand’s largest Christian concert.
  • Joyce spoke to more than 70,000 people during her October tour through Ukraine, Germany, London and South Africa.
  • Over 40,000 people came to the two-day conference at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg, South Africa.

New Zealand and Australia

On a hot, sunny day in Hamilton, New Zealand, waves of teens and young adults make their way through the streets toward the main stage at Parachute Festival ’07. They’ve come to hear four days of cutting-edge Christian music from bands like Third Day, Thousand Foot Crutch, and Falling Up.

They’ve also come to hear Joyce Meyer.

Dressed in jeans and a T-shirt, Joyce walks out onto the giant open-air stage and for the next hour shares a message on the importance of making good decisions. The response was extremely positive.

“I am twenty-three years old and my generation needs you,” says Natasha. “I really appreciated you coming out to speak to us.”

Sharon writes, “After listening to you, our twelve year old gave his life to the Lord for the first time ever! And the fact that you were wearing jeans and a T-shirt (a “cool” T-shirt) actually made my fourteen year old prepared to listen to you!”

Parachute ’07 was just one leg of Dave and Joyce’s three-week, five-city tour through Australia and New Zealand.

In Australia, Joyce kicked things off at Christian Outreach Center in Mansfield. More than 4,000 people crowded the church. They occupied every seat, stood in the hallways and sat on the floor. They even filled two overflow rooms.

And over the next seven days, Joyce taught nine more times.

She shared five incredible messages at the Influencer’s Conference in Adelaide. In Sydney, Joyce taught thousands at Christian City Church, then reunited with Pastors Brian and Bobbie Houston to teach three more messages at Hillsong Church.

Cambodia, Indonesia and Singapore
One of the most memorable events of 2007 came during our massive outreach to the nation of Cambodia—Hope Cambodia: 30 Days of Hope.

As Joyce’s three-day festival in Phnom Penh got underway, the government turned off the power at the venue…but it didn’t stop our team. Read more about this historic event.

From Cambodia, Dave and Joyce stopped in Indonesia and Singapore, sharing God’s Word with the people of Bethany Church and City Harvest Church.

Ukraine, Europe and South Africa
In October 2007, Dave and Joyce visited Ukraine, Europe and South Africa, reaching more than 70,000 people.

In Kiev, Ukraine, Joyce taught a powerful message that literally had people on the edge of their seats at the first of two Hillsong conferences.

After Kiev, Joyce flew to Essen, Germany, where she held a two-day conference. Joined by worship band Delirious? Joyce ministered to a full house during all three sessions. Joyce’s message and the worship music impacted thousands, and hundreds gave their lives to the Lord.

On October 11, Joyce joined Darlene Zschech and the Hillsong band, Israel Houghton, Michael W. Smith and other Christian musicians for Hillsong Conference London ’07. That night the Lord gave Joyce a special word for the conference guests that would prove to be a turning point for so many.

The next day she flew to Johannesburg, South Africa. More than 40,000 people—both young and old—came to this two-day conference to see Joyce and Delirious?

The response was overwhelming. Over 1,500 people became Christians. And in one session alone, about 90 percent of the people received the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

The Most Important Thing We Saw
In every place we traveled, we watched the Word of God strengthen, encourage, revive and transform people’s lives. Thank you for helping us reach every generation with the love, hope and saving power of Jesus Christ.
