Job Title: Business Analyst
Job Type: Full-time
Job Summary
The Business Analyst works with the project stakeholders in order to identify, analyze, communicate and validate requirements for Web projects. This person understands the business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements.
Job Description
  • Identify, review, analyze, and evaluate Web systems by gathering requirements from the project sponsor and executive management
  • Translate business needs into requirements and prepare the appropriate documentation
  • Define objectives and scope to prepare detailed functional specifications from which Web applications will be written
  • Develop detailed description of end user's needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify programs (business requirements)
  • Assess and resolve work-flow questions or issues
  • Assist in the development of test plans with the Quality Assurance Testing Specialist
  • Confirm that the business requirements are met with the final product
Job Requirements
  • Previous Web experience is preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3-4 years business analyst experience
  • CBAP certification preferred
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Experience in leading facilitated requirements gathering sessions 
  • Experience in creating business and functional requirements 
  • Effective leadership skills 
  • Advanced analytical skills to resolve simple to complex situations 
  • Strong organization skills with keen attention to  details
